The Philadelphia nightlife scene is as diverse and
distinctive as the city itself. There is so much to see
and do that it almost becomes difficult to pinpoint just what
you're in the mood for. Whether it be slow-dancing,
clubbing, eating, or laughing at one of the city's comedy clubs,
Philadelphia has you covered.
The majority of Philadelphia's nightclubs are located on
Delaware Avenue, which is right on the riverfront. Be sure
to check out Maui and Egypt, two of the city's best. These
two hotspots attract club kids from as far away as Atlantic
City, so be sure to get your glow-sticks ready.
The area is also littered with comedy clubs such as the
Montgomery Grill Restaurant, so you can relax with a cocktail
and enjoy the musings of the local talent. The downtown
streets are littered with bars, ranging from Nick's Roast Beef
with its delicious food and casual atmosphere, to one of the
many Irish-named pubs which come equipped with satellite dishes
for sports events and lots of deep-fried treats to enjoy with
your brew.
If you're looking to do some dining with your wining, the
area is also loaded with classy establishment to wow your
significant other with. Keep an eye out for anything
advertising seafood dinners; for some reason, Philly as a whole
does a marvelous job, and it's some of the best we've ever
tasted.
